Derma E's micordermabrasion scrub is billed as "A Salon Skin Treatment Alternative". Yes it is a slight overstatement that we commonly see in the world of skin care but there is no denying the fact that this scrub produces skin with an improved appearance and texture. Derma E describe their scrub's formula as having "gentle but firm persuasive powers" which is in reference to their clever blend of crystals that gently remove dead skin cells while also absorbing excess skin oils.

While having minor similarities with the microdermabrasion treatment as offered by salons and clinic (see below) the results are vastly different. However there is a clear improvement in the skin with the appearance of fine lines and even established wrinkles being reduced. The scrub also produces an improvement in the appearance of acne scars which are notoriously difficult to remove. Similar to the salon treatment the Derma E microdermabrasion scrub retexturizes the skin to leave it silky smooth.

Similarities witht the salon treatment include the use of crystals as an abrasive agent to remove the surface layer of the skin which is mainly dead skin cells. Also the product uses Aluminum Oxide as part of it's crystal blend (the same crystals as used in professional microdermabrasion machines). No animal testing. Made in USA.
